History & Heritage

Cullen enjoys a rich history - with links to Robert the Bruce and Thomas Telford who designed and built the Harbour.  The Railway Viaducts date from 1886.

With a history of fishing, Cullen is probably best known for the local delicacy of Cullen Skink.

The area offers something for everyone - whether you are a lover of nature, history & heritage, art & culture, water sports, wildlife and fishing, or more active pursuits like golfing, walking and cycling.

There are 8 Distilleries on the Malt Whisky Trail within an easy drive and over 30 gold courses within one hour's drive of Cullen.
